The Magic Flute

The Magic Flute is the last opera by W. A. Mozart (1756-1791) and in it critics and audiences have found a story with fantasy elements, codes for initiation into a secret society or the story of a girl kidnapped by an evil sorcerer. This masterpiece takes the children and young people of today into a world of adventures. There, they will discover friendship and the value of truth and overcome tests leading them to knowledge of reality. Together with his librettist Emanuel Schikaneder, Mozart created a unique story that still fascinates both adults and children today.
